3D Pizza Test

A very silly walk…

This character has been a bit challenging to bring to life in 3D, so i made this very silly walk-cycle to test out the rig. The model is already a very weird and unusual shape, and the skinning process was driving me a little bit mad, so there have been some issues with getting this ready for 3D-printing. I have had to animate it in such a way that it is possible to actually 3D-print and due to the way it is modelled and rigged i have had to be creative with the movements. There is a lot of refining left to do and things i want to change before i can 3D-print it, but as the deadline draws nearer i am going to have to just go with something sooner rather than later.

I want to change the arm animations most of all. I don’t like the way they look and the feel it gives to the character. Although i want to keep it silly, as i think that would suit the character, there is some improvement that can be made there. You’ll notice there are no pupils in the eyes, that is not going to be the case in the final film. I decided to remove them and when i 3D-print the model i will paint them on or i was debating adding them on in 2D afterwards.
